Gain Confidence
Good programs and tools to gain Confidence
Depending on how aware you are of where’s your Achilles heel is or not you can do different kind of home study programs or just reed a book to have some ideas to work with. If you are insecure or have doubts it might be better with some support from a mentor or coach. There can be a close friend who support you and make sure that you follow through or sometimes it feels better to haveĀ a person from the outside.
I have went through a lot of different material and they have all been useful for different purposes. Here’s my opinion about some of them.
Books
There’s plenty of confidence books on the market and before you start looking for the best one you should consider what kind of person you are. So answer these questions honestly before you go to the book store.
- Do I read and finish the books I buy
- Do I get inspired instead of sleepy when I read
- Can I discipline myself to take action on my knowledge
If your answer is yes on all three questions then let’s go to the book-store. If you answered no on any question a book is probably not the primary choice to gain confidence. Keep on reading, this is not a book.
Audio
This can be a very good choice if you are spending a lot of time on the road or conducting tasks that allows you to listen to an audio program. And today the technology makes it so easy to bring anywhere. The good thing is that it’s really easy to listen several times if you have the time for it. And everybody know that repetition is the mother of all skills. Important though is that you can listen actively and focus on what to do with the material. You will find my favorite audio’s about confidence here.
Programs
Programs are primary a combination of a audio/video and a workbook. That’s what I like best where you listen to some topics or lessons and then you have a task to do in a workbook. Here you hear, see and write your way to confidence which in my opinion is much more impact than just one or the other. If you are self disciplined and really follow through on your tasks this is really going to impact your confidence.
Seminars
Doing a seminar can be very inspiering and give a jump-start in gaining confidence. First of all you will be surrounded with like minded people to share experiences with and at the same time get lessons from a successful role model. Before you sign up to any seminar you should make sure that the speaker and the regular participant have accomplished the results that you want to accomplish. And before you attend you should be very clear of your expected outcome. There’s a lot of people who just go to all seminars they possibly can but without taking any action on what they learnt. Those are just seminar junkies and that’s expensive.
Coaching
This is probably the hardest thing to do but if you take that step outside your comfort zone having somebody else intrude in your private life and let them share their ideas what you can improve and where your potential is. If you do that investment in yourself an follow through on that it will give you a giant jump to gain confidence.

I want to thank the blogger very much not only for this post but also for his all previous efforts. I found getconfidence.org to be extremely interesting. I will be coming back to getconfidence.org for more information.
